Su sexta edición se llevó a cabo el jueves, 5 de noviembre en los museos adscritos a la Oficina de Desarrollo Cultural del Municipio de Ponce, así como el Centro Cultural de la Ciudad.
“Los Reyes llegan a la Perla” fue la propuesta que para la ocasión presentó Luis “Tato” González en el histórico Teatro La Perla.
Para esta exposición, el maestro incluyó 16 piezas en dos medios, pinturas e impresiones serigráficas.
Los personajes principales son los Santos Reyes y la historia del nacimiento. En las obras, que permanecerán expuestas hasta el 8 de enero de 2010, podrá apreciar el uso de color, el dibujo, la fuerza del movimiento y la expresión simbólica.
De otro lado, en el Museo de la Historia de Ponce el Grupo Impacto Cultural presentó su ‘Galería Urbana: Arte en Nuestras Venas’.
El grupo de jóvenes está integrado por artistas emergentes que trabajan la fotografía, las artes plásticas, la poesía y actos teatrales. Todo enmarcado por la Plaza Auditorio del Museo, su sala de exposiciones, sus pasillos y patios.
Mientras tanto, en el Centro Ceremonial Indígena de Tibes se inauguró ‘Ktarsis 2’, donde 15 mujeres presentan 35 obras con temática religiosa, principalmente dedicada a los Santos Reyes y el nacimiento.
Para la ocasión hubo un acto artístico a cargo de Gerry Avilés Crespo con un mensaje en Pantomima y “Cazadores de Sueños” presentarán un espectáculo bailable.
También se presentó el cantante cristiano Anthony Payano.
Finalmente, en el Centro Cultural de Ponce Carmen Solá de Pereira abrió la exposición “Bordado pictórico en máquina de coser antigua”, de la artesana Beatriz Nazario.
También se presenta la exposición de la artista de artes plásticas Ana Fajardo.
