She is a famous Puerto Rican actress who has appeared in films such as Battlestar Galactica: The Plan and American Gangster.  Born Lymari Nadal Torres on the 11th of February, 1978 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she grew up on the Caribbean island before moving to Los Angeles in 2001.
There she found love, and by 2002 she had married director Edward James Olmos, but they separated in 2013. The actress has had roles in films such as:
